11-14 February 2013 London, East Midlands, North West

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is organising a Green Technology Road Show, visiting three centres around the UK with a number of international buyers. Starting in London and travelling on to the East Midlands (Nottingham) and then on to the North West (Manchester), the tour will seek to highlight the broad range of green and clean technologies available from the UK including:

• Renewable Energy
• Sustainable Construction
• Low Carbon Vehicle Technologies
• Water & Wastewater Treatment
• Waste Management
• Energy from Waste

Seats are available strictly on a first come first served basis and – free of charge.

Buyers are expected from the following markets –

Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, India, Jordan, Libya, Mexico, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, UAE and USA.

Why should you attend?

It is particularly useful for companies who are new to these markets. In each of the three centres there will be a short seminar followed by a Meet the Buyer event that will deliver meaningful buyer/supplier meetings and potentially lead to a number of contracts being won.

What will you learn?

• Understand where and what the opportunities are in these international markets
• Understand how best to pursue those opportunities
• Understand methods of doing business in the markets represented

The outline programme is:

Monday 11 February
 – Opening session in London with keynote presentations focused on technologies and their successful application. Followed by a series of pre-arranged one to one meetings between our overseas delegates and UK technology providers.

Tuesday 12 February – Nottingham, session programme as in London

Thursday 14 February – Manchester, session programme as in London

The objective of this Road Show is to facilitate business exchanges between UK suppliers of green/clean technologies and buyers/decision makers from the various markets participating.

This event is free of charge.
